Shrimad Rajendra Theertha Swamiji
Shrimad Rajendra Theertha Swamiji was a great scholar in Vedanta. He succeded Shrimad Upendra Theertha II. It was during Shrimad Rajendra’s tenure that a Matha Bhavan was built in Prayag. He also bought land for Matha expansion.
Shrimad Rajendra initiated two disciples Shrimad Surendra Theertha who was the elder shishyas and Shrimad Vishnu Theertha who was the younger Shishya.
On May 30, 1799, he attained Samadhi in Travancore. His Vrindavana is located in Shri Narasimha Temple.
